Bret Leads From Experience - Bret began his career in the early days of advertising where hand-illustrated storyboards were absolutely essential. He served as a writer and art director, independently and combined, for separate large agencies. Through first-hand experience building brands from both the design and written side, Bret leads and mentors his teams by his deep experience to help them advance their chosen agency career paths. And building brands from all agency platforms, Bret brings unprecedented vision and cross-platform insight to the agencies and clients he serves.

Bret always challenges his team to always ask the question, "How can we change our target's perception to modify their behavior to drive action...", followed by, "What if...".

 
 

Transition to Interactive/Digital - While he was busy on the traditional side of the agency business at Temerlin-McClain (in television, print and radio), Bret was personally charged with the complete redesign of the Temerlin-McClain website (the new website won many industry awards - showcasing new advances in Flash technology). Bret was then invited to join the newly formed digital arm of Temerlin-McClain (later named t:m Interactive) as their only writer and designer. Bret assisted in growing t:m interactive's bandwith from a small team to over 60 in less than a year.

Bret's portfolio of published work is extensive and spans many brands and verticals.
